Little Fish

Nora went swimming for the first time this weekend but since it was just the two of us there aren't any pictures. She loved the water so hopefully there will be more opportunities for pictures. 

Sittin' around

The saga of the ear infection continues but it's not stopping Nora from doing all of her favorite things: drinking milk, sleeping, smiling, kicking Blue, and playing with her toys. She's wanting to spend less time on her back playing and more time propped up in a sitting position. She can even sit up by herself for a few seconds at a time!

Nora went to the doctor today for a follow up appointment and she now weighs 14 lbs 12 oz. She's getting to be such a big girl!  Later this afternoon we all went swimming in the neighborhood pool.

Working For the Weekend

Colds all around means we couldn't wait for the weekend. Dug had to work but Nora and I spent the weekend at home doing housework and playing with Blue.

Eyes and Ears and Toes

All of the humans at Dugglesworth Manor have been sick for the last week so here are pictures. Nora has now had her first ear infection, first case of pink eye, and now weighs 14 lbs. Oh! An she discovered her toes and has decided that she loves them.

Texas Hold 'Em

Nora's new trick is holding her own bottle. She isn't ready to go totally solo yet but she manages to hold in to it quite a bit when she's awake an engaged. At 4 am Mommy and Daddy are still doing all the work. Pictures!

She was crying and Blue wanted to help.  She seems unimpressed.

Daddy's keeping his hand close by in case she decides to let go and/or launch her bottle across the room.

Last Friday was Nora's 6 month birthday!

We celebrated the only way we seem to know how: going to the doctor!

Nora went for her 6 month check up. She got some shots (which she didn't like), but tried showing off her turning on her side skills to Dr P.

So her official weight is 13 lbs 5 oz! She is also over two feet tall!

I don't always eat bibs, but when I do it's right after I've spilled milk all over them.

Pretty soon Nora won't be able to lay in my lap like this.
