Halloween Part 1

We went to two Halloween shindigs this past weekend. The first was the NICU Reunion at St. David's. We were able to see some of the staff that we spent time with while we were in the NICU and a few of the families that we got to know while we were all there taking care of our little ones. It was so good to see everyone and also a reminder of how lucky we are that Nora is so healthy considering her dramatic entry into the world. And then we went to a party at Dug's coworker's home in Liberty Hill. Fun was had by all. We took no pictures while we were at the events but here are a few that we took at home. Please note that they are mostly blurry because she does not stop moving.

Down the Tubes

Nora had surgery to place ear tubes last Thursday.  Hopefully they will reduce the number of ear infections and the duration of those infections and just generally keep the fluid out of her ears so that she can hear better.  Dug is holding the pictures of her in the surgery center hostage so instead you will just have to enjoy these pictures of her at home recovering happily.  She was pretty upset and cried a lot and needed to be held a lot that day but since then she is all smiles, babbling up a storm, and trying to set a record for most incident reports at daycare for bonking her head while pulling up on EVERYTHING.

Life's A Picnic

Things have been quiet. We start another round of check ups next week but this week we just enjoyed the nice weather.
